"Andrew and Becky Hartley made us feel welcome and they treated their own food very respectfully I noticed. The owner carefully wrapped a purchase, a cheese, in cellophane and put it carefully in a bag."

"Had a lovely lunch here and we all had something different, all local and all delicious. Staff were so friendly and all in all a very enjoyable lunch."

"What lovely service today on our break from driving home from our holiday in North Devon. We had our dogs with us and needed a good cuppa and fresh air from travelling in the car. They made us very welcome, lovely cup of tea. Fresh bowl of water for the dogs. Great friendly service."
Ruth H, Emsworth
"We found your deli by chance en route from a holiday in Devon to home in Hampshire, at the end of August. Your service was very friendly and having eaten out a few times over the preceding 10 days on holiday we all agreed that our lunch was the best food we had all holiday. We valued the home cooking & our tasty lunches using local produce. We will make a return visit on our next trip to the South West."

"We had a lovely, swift lunch in The Lime Tree Deli in Bridport - the sandwich fillings were fresh and the bacon perfectly cooked. The fillings weren't smothered in mayonnaise - one of my personal bugbears - and the salad dressing was crisp and fresh. Best of all, our fussy kids lapped it up!
Just had a Blue Vinnie cheese and pickle sandwich (brown bread) from this unassuming little deli/cafe in Bridport. Quite possibly the most lip-smackingly gorgeous sandwich I've ever eaten. Just brilliant."
